Clash of Clans Update Release Date and More Revealed

Back in October we received some exciting news regarding a big Clash of Clans update, a game that’s one of the most popular mobile games on the planet. However, since then no Clash of Clans update arrived, nor have details regarding what to expect or when it’s coming. Today, we finally received more details and the official Clash of Clans December update release date.

Yes, the update will not be here until December. For those that play the popular game, last month we received a sneak peek of the Clash of Clans update, which consisted of a new Town Hall 11, a 3rd hero, a new defensive building and more, but that’s only the beginning. Many expected the update to arrive the same day, October 24th, so there has been lots of frustration and confusion since ClashCon.

ClashCon was a developer event to unveil TH11 and tease the update, not actually release it. Somewhere a lot of confusion arrived over when it would arrive, and now the developers, Supercell, have released a statement to clear things up. Today they confirmed everything gamers have been waiting to hear. When the update is coming, and a few things that will be the focus of the update, without giving too much away.

If the statements from Supercell today are accurate, this huge “game-changing” Clash of Clans update will be released on December 7th. Yes, that’s almost a month away, but that is because they still have a lot of work to do, as this will be one of (if not the biggest) update in the history of Clash of Clans.

Today on the official Supercell forum for the game, the developers released more details for the first time after nearly three weeks of silence. And here’s what gamers need to know.

Clash Update Release Date

Starting November 23th the company will start doing “sneak peeks” about the new Clash of Clans update. They will last for two weeks. These typically last 3-4 days, with one or two new features being revealed each and every day, with the update arriving within a week.

However, this month will be completely different. This is such a huge update to Clash of Clans that the sneak peeks will start on November 23rd (so save the date) and they will last for two weeks. That’s right. For 14 days the developers will be making announcements, explaining new features, showing off what’s new, and fine-tuning the update to improve game-play, balance new features, and more. Then release it around December 7th. That’s not set in stone though.

More Changes

We’re not really sure what to expect, but according to the developers this update will be a “quality-of-life” changing update. There’s also mention of a new “Personal Break” which could be a way to take a break from the game, without the fear of getting all of your Gold, Elixir, and Dark Elixir stolen, but again it’s too early to tell. Here’s what they did confirm.

In the new update, on top of a new Town Hall 11, a 3rd hero, bigger map size, and a new defensive troop, will be changes across the board to all levels. As well as this:

* Shields, including the exciting new “Village Guard” concept
* Session timers and the Personal Break
* Multiplayer matchmaking
* League Bonuses
* High-level Trophy calculations

Shields will be changed in some fashion but we aren’t sure how. Not to mention a new village guard concept that will be a way to completely save-guard everything players have. Like money, gold, etc.

We’re not sure what session timers are, but Clash already makes players take a break after so many hours, but it’s like 6-7 hours straight before it kicks you off. That could be changed to a shorter amount, but we don’t know. The personal break will likely let people take personal breaks without leaving their base and village wide open for free easy loot. Which is good, but at the same time I love finding dead bases and stealing all their money.

The company will be changing and improving matchmaking for clan wars, tweaking league bonuses, high-level trophy calculations will change. Likely to allow higher players a chance to earn more than 1-3 trophies from bases.

Again, this is all we’ve been told, so most of everything we will hear from now until November 23rd will be pure speculation.

That all said, this looks to be one of the biggest updates ever. There are tons of major changes coming for everyone involved, not just high TH9 and TH10 players, and the developers need a few more weeks to sort everything out. We have no clue what’s coming, but will find out soon enough. Stay tuned for more details.

Clash of Clans Best Defense Strategy – Always Stay on Top

When playing a game like Clash of Clans it is crucial that you keep an eye out on your loot and trophies. In order to do this, you need to have a solid base, if you do not work on strengthening your base, attackers can quickly get a hold of your loot, resources and so on.

Main “attractions” for attackers

Town Hall will be first major focal point for your enemies. You have two options here: add it outside or inside the walls. If your trophies are the main target, Town Hall should be placed inside the walls (add it centrally), but when playing in farming mode the Town Hall should be placed outside the walls (add it in a corner). Your storage resources will be left behind as the attackers will focus on the trophies.
Clan Castle – this one permits you to include even more protection if you recur to clan troops (you have to be part of a clan of course). The middle of your base seems like the perfect spot to place the Clan Castle.

Storages – are also important that is why you must ensure full protection for the latter. The dark elixir storage must be guarded at all times this being your most prized possession. So, try and add in at the center the base, as for the rest of the storages, add them within the walls. It would help to scatter them all over the base and don’t have them all bundled up in the same place.
Defenses and how to use them

Mortars are fun to use if you’re targeting various enemies or have more than one goal in mind due to their extremely wide spectrum of attack, we recommend adding the mortars deeper in your base.

Concealed Tesla buildings are great for using again troops, especially if you wish to unleash a sneak attack. It is advisable to add your tesla within a stone’s throw of the storage buildings if you have enable farming mode while if you’re playing in trophy mode you could strategically place them near TH.

Of course there are other great defenses you can use such as the heroes, traps, the Archer tower and last but not least the walls.

When it comes to walls, you could opt for a single layer as this is meant to keep the troops from gaining access to the most important parts of your base. It’s basically a defensive fence. However if you use segregated types of walls, you could construct various cubicles which could store one or more buildings. This would make it harder for the troops to advance and as time ticks away you can activate all of your defenses.

Upcoming 'Clash of Clans' Town Hall 11 Update Gets a 2-Week Sneak Peek Starting November 23rd!

Well, we finally got some more news about the big update coming to Clash of Clans [Free]. If you remember, we got a sneak peak of Town Hall 11 and some other features during ClashCon, but today we got to hear a bit more. First of all, there will be chanes to Shields, including the exciting new "Village Guard" concept. Session timers and the Personal Break will also be changed as will Multiplayer Matchmaking, League Bonuses, and High-level Trophy calculations. According to the developers, these changes are part of an effort to make quality-of-life changes that aim to improve the way everyone plays Clash of Clans every single day. I guess this statement is in response to the complaints by many that the upcoming update seemed to be only for those at the upper echelons of the game.

The developers stated that they are aware the update is taking its time, but they want to make sure that the upcoming changes are "as well tested and well balanced as possible." However, in what will be good news for all, they are going to kick-off a 2-week sneak peek schedule starting the week of November 23rd to get everyone in on the conversation. The planned topics will be:

Yibada’s report reveals this hero holding a book, so gamers can only assume that Mage will be part of the upcoming Clash of Clans upgrade. No other specifics have been divulged yet.

Clash of Clans updates due for December?

Super Cell (the mastermind behind the Clash of Clans game) made public at the Clash Con (2015 edition) the fact that there is an update scheduled to be released in the near future.

On Facebook, Clash of Clans also confirmed the fact that the team is working on a brand new upgrade and that it is just a matter of weeks before it will become available.

Even if nothing has been confirmed yet, the latter Facebook post might lead some to believe that December might just be the due date for the upgrade.

Clash Of Clans (COC) Update Rollout Will Start Nov 2015: 6 Important Things To Expect

Clash of Clans game developer Supercell has revealed the planned upgrades for its mega-hit strategy mobile game title but stopped short of detailing the expansions' actual release date. But one thing is certain, unpacking of the new COC features will happen within the 2015 holiday season.

The just concluded ClashCon provided hints that clues will be given out at regular pace prior to the COC update rollout. Gotta Be Mobile said in a report that Supercell will likely push out the entire package by middle of November, adding that the next two weeks will marked by sneak peeks of the things to come.
For its part, the Android Guys reported that the latest arrival should be early December as Supercell is likely more inclined to treat the millions of COC fans to the fresh additions in time for the 2015 Christmas season. "We can assume it (the updates) will land between Halloween and Christmas," the report said, adding that the likelihood of a Holiday-inspired season cannot be discounted.

So the wait for the next big COC update begins and here are six of the important things to expect:
Map size bumped to 44 x 44 translates to bigger base, different gameplay
Town Hall 11 has been uncloaked (Android Guys said it is ugly) and alongside the revelation, Supercell said that the COC map size will be stretched to 44 x 44. This literally means that gamers will have a larger area to cover, which should serve as a game-changer, plus the promise of building a bigger clan base.
Who is the third hero?
The King and Queen will be joined by a third hero that for now remains wrapped in mystery. But the consensus points to a Wizard, whose main prowess is the ability to tussle while upgrading.
New defense unit
With the game maps and characters set for upgrades, there's got to be a new defense unit. "There's a brand new defensive unit or building similar to the Inferno tower, but it does something pretty awesome, and bizarre. It's like a mortar mixed with an inferno tower," GBM said on its report.
Fresh Dark Troops and a Fourth Spell
Clash of Clans players can look forward to the introduction of new Dark Troops and it would not be surprising to see the arrival of a Fourth Spell. What exactly are these should be reason to excite the COC community in the build up to the update touchdown in the weeks ahead.
Up by another level
It is by default that the level of game will increase across the board with the upcoming update so COC gamers are expecting the Barbarians to jump to Level 8. Likely to be packaged with the jump are Level 6 Hog Riders and Level 3 Witches, GBM said on its report.
Single Player maps and Daily Quests
Now the Clash of Clans expansion will gain more texture if Daily Quests and Single Player maps will be part of the deal - the update that will soon drop, that is. The Quests should keep COC gamers busy while the Single Player is the stage for upping players' skill.

ClashCon 2015 has concluded in Helsinki, Finland, and we finally got the news about the upcoming Clash of Clans [Free] update which everyone had been expecting for weeks now. While we didn't get a firm release date for the update (guesses range from a few days to around three weeks), we did see some of the big new features that will be added to the game. First of all, the game is getting a Town Hall Level 11, which wasn't really a big surprise as most clashers were expecting Supercell to finally raise the Town Hall Level. Many players have fully upgraded Town Hall 10 bases, so this new addition should allow them to finally continue upgrading their bases. However, as one player mentions in the video below, there's a worry that the new Town Hall (and its accompanied defenses) will be too expensive for most players.

The other big reveal was a Town Hall 11 exclusive Defense that we got to see in action. As you can see from the image above, the Defense looks like an eagle and it's 4x4 tiles big. This Defense deals area splash damage, attacks both ground and air tropps, and gets activated after a certain amount of troops have entered battle. Check the video below for a demonstration of the new "Eagle" defense. It looks so powerful that some clashers feel they'll need new, more powerful units to stand up to it. We also got a glimpse (and I mean literally a glimpse) of a new Hero, but no information about him. Some believe he will be a warlock or something, but we'll have to wait and see. Finally, maps have increased to 44x44, so more space for all of you to build your bases. That's all the info we have on the update at the moment, but we'll keep you informed as we get info about further content and the actual release.

The Village Outline Matters

If you remember to upgrade the troops, your success is guaranteed as this mean they will be able to survive a lot longer. Tier 1 troops for instance refer to the Archers and Barbarians which must be upgraded constantly, you should also know that higher levels imply costly upgrades for your troops.

Shield Must Not be Broken

The Shield is definitely important as it offers you protection from attackers, you should only attack when the shield is deactivated. You will be notified within the game about the shield time.

Set Town Hall Outside the Walls

Having the Town Hall outside the walls means that you want to focuse more on the loot and not on the trophies. If you opt for adding the Town Hall outside the walls this means you also get a 12 hour free shield after you’ve been attacked.

Upgrade the Defenses

How can you win the game if your defenses are not solid?  You should spend your gold in upgrading these defenses, always buy the best weapons if you want to keep away the invaders.

Clash of Clans’ Latest Update: Town Hall 11 Confirmed!

According to a report by International Business Times, Supercell revealed the news during the ClashCon 2015, which was the first big event held for “Clash of Clan” players.
Gamezone noted that a video showing the Town Hall 11 was posted on YouTube by user Galadon, giving fans a sneak peek of what’s to come with the upcoming base. The video also suggested that Town Hall 11 will be bringing “mysterious ancient technologies” into the game along with new defensive buildings and a new defensive structure that appears similar to an eagle.

Aside from that, a new offensive unit will also be added but it still remains a mystery what it will be as it was only shown in its silhouette. One thing is revealed though—it will be based on regular elixir, not a 6,000,000 dark elixir.
But the addition of the Town Hall 11 is just one of the many contents that Supercell is planning to bring to the game. Clashers will get a bigger area to cover as the map size will be bumped to 44 x 44. New Dark Troops will be added while a fourth spell is expected to arrive as well.
Major updates were all revealed during ClashCon but The BitBag revealed that there’s actually going to be a lot more according to “Clash of Clans” server programmer Jonas Collaros. He stated that in the coming weeks, they will be releasing “sneak peaks” of unrevealed new content for the next major game update.

Clan War Tournaments, workshops, and Supercell’s announcement of the major Clash of Clans update content was one of the biggest things players were eager for in the recently concluded ClashCon. The major Clash of Clans update announcement was undoubtedly something big, but numerous fans were disappointed as it was only geared towards those in the topmost part of the game. A staff of Supercell has recently responded to complaints regarding the announcement.

Damage Control

Supercell staff Anoushka refuted claims that they promoted ClashCon as an event where a big update announcement would be made, Touch Arcade reported. “We never told players we would announce an entire update,” Anoushka said.

“Also, we never hyped and promoted ClashCon as the ‘event where we would make a big announcement’, we promoted it as the first of its kind, bringing together Clashers from different countries, War tournaments, workshops, swag, merchandise, etc… The update news was a bonus to make things sweeter.”

Clash of Clans Update Release Date

Supercell’s David Collaros announced at ClashCon that they will provide bigger features than Town Hall 11, new defense, and new hero they announced at ClashCon. Sneak Peak videos will also be announced in the coming weeks, he said. There is still no concrete announcement when the Sneak Peak videos will be released. Anoushka said they still don’t have an estimated release date for the update, but he promised that they are working hard to release it as soon as possible.

New Hero

Only the silhouette of the new unnamed hero was shown at ClashCon and the amount of Elixirs required to unlock it. Supercell held an art contest for the new hero and the winner has now been announced. The silhouette of the new hero definitely looks like a mage and all the finalists’ designs included a person holding a book and a staff. Will Supercell include some details in the fan art designs?

Clash of Clans Best Update Comes Lots Of Improvements and New Features

The developer of Clash of Clans, Supercell, announced during ClashCon 2015 event, the new update that will be released for their awesome game. Unfortunately, the release date of the update was not confirmed by the developer, but there are rumors which say that it will be released sometime in November 2015.

In concordance with Australia Network News, the upcoming update for Clash of Clans will include some new things such as:

– A new Town Hall level 11
– A new Hero
– A Gem mine
– A new defensive unit.

It seems that the defensive structure will look like an eagle and it will have 4×4 squares. At the same time, the map will be expanded to 44×44 squares, which will give enough space to the players for maneuvering.

In concordance with Android Origin, the new Clash of Clans update will also bring a gem mine. This mine will most likely generate a small amount of gems, but in the long-time, it can be quite useful. If rumors prove to be right, the developer is finally enabling loot sharing, where players can choose a friend and donate some loot to them.

It seems that the barbarian troops will receive a level 8 upgrade. This means that these troops will have higher hp and more damage than before. When it comes to the new Hero that will be introduced, it seems that it will be a mage character, as it holds a staff in his hand.

In the meantime, the developer has also rolled out the special Halloween theme for the Clash of Clans players. The gamers were able to get a bonus Elixir from the special Halloween Cauldron obstacle and a 1-gem spell factory boost during the weekend that just ended.
