Clash of Clans’ Latest Update: Town Hall 11 Confirmed!

According to a report by International Business Times, Supercell revealed the news during the ClashCon 2015, which was the first big event held for “Clash of Clan” players.
Gamezone noted that a video showing the Town Hall 11 was posted on YouTube by user Galadon, giving fans a sneak peek of what’s to come with the upcoming base. The video also suggested that Town Hall 11 will be bringing “mysterious ancient technologies” into the game along with new defensive buildings and a new defensive structure that appears similar to an eagle.

Aside from that, a new offensive unit will also be added but it still remains a mystery what it will be as it was only shown in its silhouette. One thing is revealed though—it will be based on regular elixir, not a 6,000,000 dark elixir.
But the addition of the Town Hall 11 is just one of the many contents that Supercell is planning to bring to the game. Clashers will get a bigger area to cover as the map size will be bumped to 44 x 44. New Dark Troops will be added while a fourth spell is expected to arrive as well.
Major updates were all revealed during ClashCon but The BitBag revealed that there’s actually going to be a lot more according to “Clash of Clans” server programmer Jonas Collaros. He stated that in the coming weeks, they will be releasing “sneak peaks” of unrevealed new content for the next major game update.
The specific release date of the “Clash of Clans” update has not been announced by Supercell yet but it’s expected to come sometime in November of early December.

'Clash of Clans' new update to bring new hero, defense structure in November?

Game developer Supercell revealed several exciting news about "Clash of Clans" during the first annual ClashCon held in Helsinki, Finland held in Oct. 24.

Supercell revealed that it is currently preparing to release a new "Clash of Clans" update that will bring a lot of new thrilling content for the game, which will include a brand-new defensive structure, a new town hall, as well as a new heroic character.


Neurogadget revealed that the new defensive troop that will come with the new "Clash of Clans" update, which can be trainable in exchange for 1250 elixir.

"Clash of Clans" will be having a new Town Hall 11 upgrade, which can bring more opportunities for added upgrades in the future. It will also have a new defense structure, called the Eagle tower, which can only be activated once a specific amount of destruction has been made. It can allegedly attack both ground and air units in the game. The new 4 x 4 square meter tower can be increased to 44 x 44 square meters to give "Clash of Clans" players extra space for maneuvering.

To accommodate all these updates, the game developer will have to expand the villages and move all the obstacles that are currently seen in the current version of the game.

Meanwhile, the new "Clash of Clans" hero is also expected to be released when the alleged "Clash of Clans" update officially comes out. Based on the silhouette that the game developer released to tease fans about the new game, the hero might be a mage because it bears a staff in his hand. The new hero will allegedly cost a staggering 6 million elixir.

At the moment, SuperCell is still mum about the actual release date of the highly anticipated "Clash of Clans" free game update. However, a speculation from "Clash of Clans" fan Chief Pat predicted that it will be released on either Monday or Tuesday of the second or third week of November.

Clash of Clans Maker Tops High Earner Lists in Finland

Mobile gaming company Supercell is now reportedly Finland's biggest money-maker, with a taxable income nearly 10 times that of one-time cellphone powerhouse Nokia.

Finnish news agency STT on Monday said the company behind the popular strategy game Clash of Clans last year had the highest pre-tax income of any Finnish company, with 871 million euros.

Banks and insurance companies earned more but their income included subsidiaries and branches abroad.

Nokia, once Finland's biggest company, slipped down the scale with earnings of 92 million euros, according to tax officials.

STT said the Nordic country's top individual earner was Supercell's game lead, Lasse Louhento, with a reported income of 6 million euros in 2014.

The tax filings of individuals and companies are open to the public in Finland and other Nordic countries.

'Clash of Clans' Update Features: November 2015 Patch To Bring New Defensive Structure, New Hero, New Town Hall

Is your clan ready for a major boost? Supercell is gearing up for the biggest "Clash of Clans" update in the game's history, which will include exciting features such as a new town hall, new defense and even a new hero.

According to a report from NeuroGadget, the upcoming "Clash of Clans" update will introduce a new town hall level: Town Hall 11. The sneak peek revealed the hall will be white and open, measuring 4x4 square meters. One perk of the update is the expanded map size to 44x44 square meters, which allows more freedom and maneuvering in-game.
Players will also be given a new defensive troop, although it will take 1,250 elixer to train them. The additional hero has not yet been detailed by Supercell, but fans speculate the new hero will be a mage. It will reportedly cost 6,000,000 elixer.
Other rumors mention a fourth spell from the Dark Spell Factory, plus new quests and maps in the single-player missions.

The recent ClashCon 2015 held by developer Supercell received mixed reviews as the fans were able to get a glimpse of some features in the upcoming patch. A report from Touch Arcade revealed that some members of the "Clash of Clans" community were not happy with the update that only targeted high-level players.
"TH11 is a big update," Supercell representative Anoushka responded to the criticisms via Touch Arcade. "It may not affect everyone equally, but we will definitely see changes in attack/defense (new hero, new defense) and that is a game changer in a way."
He went on to point out that the expectations were too high, saying, "But there was too much hype, so now by 'game changer' people expect an update that will revolutionize the entire game and bring a whole new dimension to 'Clash', as Clan Wars did, and anything less than that may sound like a let down."
Anoushka also addressed the misconception that the update was set to be launched during the event, leading fans to be disappointed that only a glimpse was given.
"We never told players we would announce an entire update," he stressed. "Also we never hyped and promoted ClashCon as the 'event where we would make a big announcement', we promoted it as the first of its kind, bringing together Clashers from different countries, War tournaments, workshops, swag, merchandise etc."
The new update will reportedly be released within November 2015, but Supercell hasn't confirmed an exact date yet. According to NeuroGadget, the release date will likely fall on Nov. 11 or Nov. 12.
